Ch. MoonFire’s Sky Dancer “Tori” The MoonFire Samoyeds live with Dave and Mary Carlson on 12 acres of high desert land in northern New Mexico, near the small village of Jemez Springs. We think Samoyeds are the best breed of dogs ever - they are sweet, kind, crazy, and a whole lot of fun. They are also the most beautiful breed - in our opinion. All of our dogs are house dogs and are spoiled rotten. Samoyeds are also great escape artists, fantastic cavern makers, barkers, and shed beautiful white hair. We are both members of the Samoyed Club of America, and Mary is currently a member of the Board of Governor's of the Samoyed Club of America We are increasingly concerned about the growing anti-pet legislation spreading across the country requiring mandatory spay/neuter. Folks, in one generation we will have NO pets if these people are successful. Warning: The Humane Society of the United States does not assist dogs in need. They do take in millions of dollars from unsuspecting Americans and use it to fund their anti-pet campaigns. Donate to your local animal shelter or rescue operation; not to HSUS. In addition, these anti-pet campaigns target people who do not have a lot of money. In our opinion, every kid should have a puppy, not just the wealthy. As a hobby breeder of quality Samoyeds, we cannot live in the City of Albuquerque due to their recent anti-pet legislation (the Heart Ordinance) which severely impacts good reputable breeders.
